The body of a man in his 60s was tragically found on a street in Gorey, Co Wexford this morning.
Gardai were called to the scene after it the discovery by members of the public.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a post mortem will decide the course of the investigation.
The death is not thought to be suspicious.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí were called to the scene following the discovery of a body in Gorey, County Wexford earlier this morning Wednesday 30th October 2019.
"A male in his early 60s was pronounced dead at the scene.
"A post mortem is due to be carried out at a later date at University Hospital Waterford which will determine the course of the investigation."
