Body of man in his 40s found at house after air ambulance lands

The body of a man in his 40s was found at a property in Newton Le Willows on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the address on Borron Road at around 2:30pm.

An air ambulance was also seen landing in the area on Sunday afternoon.

Merseyside Police said a man in his 40s was sadly found dead at the scene.

His death is being treated as non-suspicious and has been referred to the coroner.

A spokesperson from the force said: "Emergency services were called to an address on Borron Rd at around 2:30pm yesterday, Sunday, 16 August following the death of a man in his 40’s.

"The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file has been passed to the coroner."
