The body of a man has been found in a home near Formby Beach.
Merseyside Police were called to Montagu Road, near Fishermans Path, at around 1pm on Friday, October 7, following reports of a body being found. Once they arrived at the scene they found the body of a 20-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have confirmed they are not treating the man's death as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to identify the mans next of kin. A file is being prepared for the coroner.

Pictures seen by The ECHO show a number of police cars and ambulance vehicles at the scene.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm emergency services were called to an address on Fishermans Path, Montagu Road in Formby this afternoon. Officers were called to a report that the body of a man in his 20s had been found.
"He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A file is being prepared for the coroner."
