Body of man found on shore in Kilcreggan

The body of a man has been recovered from the shore in Kilcreggan.

Police confirmed the discovery was made just after 11am this morning (Tuesday).

Enquiries are underway to establish his identity.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Just after 11am this morning, Tuesday, March 24, the body of a man was found in the water just off Shore Road, near to Kilcreggan.

"Enquiries are underway to establish the identity of the man and the circumstances surrounding the death. The Procurator Fiscal will be informed.
