Police have discovered a body on the outskirts of Kilmarnock today.
The find was made at West Tannacrieff at 12.10pm this afternoon.
It's understood that West Tannacrief is located between Fenwick and Kilmaurs, just off Kilmaurs Road.
Officers are currently treating the death as 'unexplained' and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 12.10pm on Sunday, February 28, the body of a man was found at West Tannacrieff. The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
