Body of man found near Scots doctor surgery as cops probe unexplained death

The body of a man was found near a Scots doctor's surgery.

Emergency services were called to the scene following the 'sudden' death of the man around 7.40am this morning on Central Avenue, Ardrossan, Ayrshire.

Police said the cause of death was unexplained at this time and a probe would be carried out into the circumstances.

A report will also be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesman told the Record: “Officers were called to the Central Avenue area of Ardrossan around 7.40am on Wednesday, 1 December 2021, following the sudden death of a man.

"The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.

"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
