The body of a man has sadly been found in a police search to find missing person Kevin Turner.
50-year-old Kevin had been reported missing from his Johnstone home from the morning of Sunday, October 25.
Police Scotland have now confirmed that the body was found near Thorn Brae, Johnstone at around 10.20am this morning (Wednesday, October 28). An earlier appeal confirmed the last sighting of the 50-year-old was at Johnstone train station on Sunday morning.
Formal identification is yet to take place, however Kevin's family has been made aware of the discovery.
A post mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of the death. However, officers confirmed they are not treated the death as suspicious.
