The body of a man has been found in a woodland area in Hamilton.
Emergency services rushed to Udston road in Hamilton on Thursday afternoon after the body was discovered.
The death is being treated as unexplained.
The body has yet to be identified.
Police remain on the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson: "At around 2.40pm we were called to reports of a man's body discovered in Udston Road in Hamilton."
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained."
Enquiries are at an early stage and remain ongoing."
