The body of a man recovered from a canal at Speirs Wharf has been confirmed as John Connelly.
The 28-year-old man was last seen on Monday, July 15 on Cathay Street in Milton.
However, Police Scotland have now confirmed that John's body was recovered from the water in a search on Monday evening .
A post mortem examination has been carried out and his death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Investigations are continuing to find out what happened to John and officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Speirs Wharf on the night of Monday 15 July 2019 between 8 pm and 11 pm to get in touch.
