Body of man found in Scots high rise after police called to sudden death

Police have been called to a high rise block of flats in Dundee after the sudden death of a man.

Officers were called at around 1.10am on Tuesday, March 30, following reports that a 47-year-old had sadly passed away at an address in Adamson Court.

An investigation was launched but Police Scotland has confirmed that there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.

A force spokeswoman said: “Police were called around 1.10am on Tuesday, 30 March, 2021 following the report of the sudden death of a 47-year-old man at a property on Adamson Court in Dundee.

“Officers attended and there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

“As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
