Body of man found in house as police search for family members

A man's body found has been found at a house in Huyton.

Today police said a search had been launched to find the man's family after he was found dead at his home in Belfield Crescent.

Merseyside Police confirmed that Paul Hughes, 70, died on on Saturday, January 25 this year and a bid to trace his relatives was now underway.

Police said there was no suggestion of foul play or any criminal investigation.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "His death is not being treated as suspicious."

Knowsley, St Helens and Sefton Coroner's Office wants his family to get in touch.
