Police are probing the sudden death of a man in Glasgow.
Officers were called to Granville Street at around 4.30am on Wednesday.
The 55-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as unexplained.
At around 7am cops confirmed the incident and said that they were still in the area as their investigation got underway.
North Street into Berkley Street and Sauchiehall Street into Granville Street have all been closed off by police.
Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
A spokesperson from Greater Glasgow Police Division said: "We are currently in attendance on Granville Street following a report of a sudden death around 4.30am on Wednesday, April 28.
"A 55-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This is currently being treated as unexplained however enquiries are at an early stage.
"The road is currently closed at North Street into Berkeley Street and at Sauchiehall Street into Granville Street.
"Anyone with information about the incident should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0287 of April 28."
