The body of a man has been found in a street in Glasgow city centre.
Officers were called to Royal Exchange Court at around 9.20am on Saturday.
A man in his 40s was found dead at the scene.
Police are treating the death as unexplained.
The lane has been cordoned off while police remain in the area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We are treating his death as ‘unexplained’ and our enquiries are at an early stage at this moment in time.”
