THE body of a man has been found in a cemetery in Inverclyde, as police launched a probe into the “unexplained” death.
Emergency services were called to Greenock Cemetery on South Street at around 4.10pm on Friday.
Police said the body of a man was discovered and that enquiries into the death are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.10pm on Friday, August 1, 2025, the body of a man was found in a cemetery in [[Greenock]].
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
