Police have launched an enquiry into the unexplained death of a man in Hamilton.
Officers responded to reports that a 44-year-old man had died at a property in Hillside Lane yesterday morning around 11:15am.
Police have confirmed that the death is being treated as unexplained and that a post mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the cause of death.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Around 11.15 am on Sunday August 16, police received a report that a 44-year-old man had died in a property in Hillside Lane in Hamilton.
