Body of man discovered in Dalmuir Park as police appeal for information

The body of a man has been found in Dalmuir Park.

Police raced to the park in Clydebank after the discovery was made at around 8:45am this morning.

The force have appealed to the public for information as they investigate his death.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man was found in water in Dalmuir Park, Clydebank this morning, Wednesday 5 February 2020.

Officers are currently carrying out inquiries into the death and would ask that anyone who may have been in the park, either on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, call police on the 101 number if they have any information which might assist in this enquiry.

"Callers should quote the reference number 0581 5 February 2020."
