Gardai are investigating after the body of a man in his 50s was found at a house in Cork City this morning.
The discovery was made at a premises on the Bandon Road around noon and gardai have sealed off the area for a technical examination.
Gardai are treating the death as suspicious although it is not clear if the man was found with any visible injuries, Cork Beo reports.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a man in a house on the Bandon Rd, Cork City.
"The man’s body was discovered by Gardaí shortly after 11.30am Saturday 7th September 2019. The scene is currently being examined by members of the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit.
"The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out. Enquires are ongoing and the course of the investigation will be determined by the outcome of the post-mortem. The results of a post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation."
