Body of man, 55, discovered at house in Darling Estate, north Dublin

The body of a man, 55, has been discovered at a house in north Dublin.

A Garda investigation is underway after the man was discovered by a family member at his home in Darling Estate on the Navan Road.

RTE reports suggest that the victim may have been assaulted last week and was treated in hospital and discharged.

Gardai are currently awaiting the outcome of a post-mortem examination to be carried out by the State Pathologist.
