Body of man, 32, found in Glasgow flat as police launch investigation

A man has been found dead in a Glasgow flat, prompting a police investigation.

The body of the 32-year-old was found by officers in the property on Dobbies Loan Place,

The Daily Record reports that a heavy police presence was seen in the Townhead area near the city centre yesterday (Monday, September 7) at around 6.45pm.

The full circumstances surrounding the man's death are not currently known. Police Scotland confirmed that his death is being treated as unexplained with enquiries still ongoing.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 6.45 pm on Monday, 7 September, 2020, the body of a 32-year-old man was found within a flat in Dobbies Loan Place, Glasgow.

"Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding his death, which is currently being treated as unexplained, are continuing."
