Police are investigating the unexplained death of a man whose body was found in a Cumbernauld property yesterday (Sunday).
The young man, 25, was discovered at the home in Millcroft Road around 11.40am and a heavy police presence, including forensics officers, was reported by the Daily Record.
Photos from the scene show a tarpaulin covering an upper floor window of a block of flats.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the death of a 25-year-old man in a property on Millcroft Road at 11.40am on Sunday.
“His death is currently being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
