The body of a 21-year-old kick-boxing instructor has been found in the River Thames, police believe.
Officers have been frantically searching for Paul Conte who went missing after leaving a party in Barnes, west London, on August 14 shortly after midnight.
Mr Conte had texted his girlfriend to say he was walking back to Putney, which is a journey which should take around an hour.
Worried loved ones reported him missing when he didn’t come home and did not contact them.
The Metropolitan Police said they received reports a body had been seen in the water near Putney Bridge this morning.

The Met’s Marine Policing Unit recovered the body of a man from the water and, although formal identification awaits, police said they believe the deceased is Paul Conte.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained, police said.
His next of kin has been notified and they are being supported by specialist officers, they added.
His sister, Leanne Conte, 31, previously told MyLondon : “Paul is funny, opinionated, and the most loyal person ever.

“If you are lucky enough to be considered his friend or family he will be there for you always.
"He is my baby brother and we just want him found.”
Officers previously revealed he had been captured on CCTV in Galata Road and Parke Road in the early hours.
When police first appealed for information to find him, the disappearance was described as “completely out of character”.
