The body of a 21-year-old man has been found in a house in Darvel.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 1pm yesterday afternoon following reports of the incident.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A police spokeswoman said: "A 21-year-old man died within a house in East Main Street, Darvel on Wednesday, April 10.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
