The body of a teenage girl has been discovered in woodland in Wales.
At 8.24am this morning North Wales Police received a report of a missing local girl in Tanygrisiau, Blaenau Ffestiniog.
This afternoon officers discovered the body of the 15-year-old girl in woodland in the Welsh town, the Daily Post reported.
Detective Chief Inspector Lee Boycott said: "The circumstances of this tragic incident are not being treated as suspicious, and the local coroner has been informed.
"I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family, and I would request that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time."

The road leading up to the quarry in Tanygrisiau has been closed off for much of the day.
"How tragically sad," one mourning wrote.
"My thoughts and prayers are with her family who must be utterly heartbroken."
Another added: "So sad, and at such a young age. Condolences to the family."
Tanygrisiauis a small village of 350 that lies below the Moelwyn mountain range.
