A man reported missing on Sunday afternoon has sadly been found dead.
Paul McMullen was last seen around 12.20pm on Burleigh Street in Coatbridge with his disappearance described as 'completely out of character'.
Police have now confirmed that the body of the 40-year-old was found within Drumpellier Park, Coatbridge, around 9.10am on Monday morning.
His family has been made aware.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
