A body was found on Blackpool beach this morning, police have said.
Lancashire Constabulary is now appealing for more information following the discovery.
They were called to reports that the body of a man had been found on the beach opposite The Wedding Chapel at around 7.20am.
Emergency services attended the scene and are now trying to establish the man's identity.
They say that his a white male, believed to be in his 50s or 60s.
