A man was found dead in a Kilmarnock flat this morning.
Police and ambulance crews dealt with an incident on Haining Avenue, near Whatriggs Primary School in Bellfield, at around 8.30am in which the body of a man was found.
Police aren't treating the death as suspicious, with a report to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Kilmarnock Standard: "Following a report of a concern for a person, police were called to a property in Haining Avenue, Kilmarnock at around 8.30am on Friday, December 6 where the body of a man was found within.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
