Body of a man found in Glasgow flat as 'officers' comb scene

Police are currently combing the scene where a man's body was found in Glasgow.

Officers were called to a block of flats on Wallace Street in the city at around 8.20pm last night.

Upon arrival a 38-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained and police enquiries an ongoing.

A source told the Record: "I saw a private ambulance outside a set of flats on Wallace Street and there were forensics there too.

"It looked like a body had been found"

Police Scotland say a full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A force spokeswoman said: "Around 8.20pm on Saturday, March 20, officers were called to a block of flats in Wallace Street, Glasgow.

"A 38 year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The death is currently being treated as unexplained. A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
