Body found on Isle of Wight confirmed as missing Rosie Johnson

A body found on the Isle of Wight last week is that of Rosie Johnson, police have confirmed.

The 22-year-old went missing on the evening of Sunday June 23 from the PGL Little Canada activity centre in Wootton on the Isle of Wight where she worked.

A huge air and land was launched the next day as cops frantically tried to find the missing worker.

Her body was found five days after she was reporting missing.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Miss Johnson was the niece of Daniel Johnson, the Scottish Labour MSP for Edinburgh Southern.

Rosie's family is being supported by Hampshire Constabulary.

Her distraught family said she had gone for a walk and spoke to her mum just hours before disappearing.
