Police are investigating whether a man was hit and killed by a passing vehicle after finding his body a short distance from his car in central Queensland.
Officers were called to the Bruce Highway just south of Rockhampton about 1:40am on Monday where they found the body on the side of the road.
The cause of death is still to be determined and anybody who may have seen the man or a car parked on the side of the road has been asked to come forward.
