Police searching for a missing Dumbarton man have found a body on a beach.
George Sutherland has been missing since early March after he was last see near Dalreoch train station.
Police made the grim discovery on the beachfront between Rosneath Point, Rosneath and Kilcreggan, Argyll and Bute, on Sunday afternoon.
Formal identification is yet to take place but the 45-year-old's family have been informed.
A post mortem examination will be carried out but the death is not being treated as suspicious
