A body was found Saturday afternoon on the lakefront at Promontory Point on the South Side.
About 1:15 p.m., marine units found the male’s body on the rocks of Promontory Point in the 5500 block of South Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said. The male was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified.
Area One detectives are investigating the incident.
