The body of a missing Scots man has been found in a wooded area of a Glasgow park.
Yesterday we told how a frantic search had been launched for Joseph Watson, from Pollok, after the 61-year-old disappeared around 1.40pm on Thursday, June 24.
Police said the 61-year-old was last seen near Barrhead Road and released a description in a bid to track him down.
This morning officers confirmed the body of a man had been found within Crookston Wood near to Lyoncross Road.
Joseph's family have been informed.
There are no suspicious circumstances.
As with all sudden deaths, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
