Body found in Wirral home sparks search for family

The body of a man was found in a home in Wirral and police are now searching to locate his family.

Norman Lyon, 78, was found at his home on Upton Road in Bidston on Saturday, July 17.

Police confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Merseyside Police made the appeal for help finding his next of kin on behalf of the Liverpool coroner's office.
