A woman's body has been found in bushland where a Melbourne grandmother went missing.
Susan Shaw, 67, has not been seen since police stopped her walking along Mount Donna Buang Road at Warburton, east of Melbourne, in the early hours of November 27.
The body was discovered in bushland near the same road about 12.40pm on Tuesday, Victoria Police confirmed.
It has yet to be formally identified, but police are investigating if it is linked to Ms Shaw's reported disappearance.
Missing Persons Squad detectives are attending the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the woman's death.
Police, rescue specialists, and SES and CFA workers had been scouring the dense and steep terrain for days before scaling back their search.
