Authorities have identified a man found floating in Belmont Harbor last week on the North Side.
Officials received calls of a male body in Belmont Harbor, 3100 N. Lake Shore Dr. about 5:20 p.m. Sept. 13, Chicago police said. The body was recovered from the harbor within an hour, police said.
He was identified as 35-year-old Patrick Owens, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. Autopsy results were still pending on Sept. 16. His home address was unknown.
Area North detectives were conducting a death investigation.
