Police have launched an investigation after a body was found in Strathclyde Loch.
Emergency services raced to Strathclyde Country Park yesterday morning after being alerted by a member of the public.
The body of a man was recovered and police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 10am on Tuesday, 1 December, 2020 to a report of a body being seen in the loch, near to Spine Road in Motherwell.
“The body of man has been recovered, there are no suspicious circumstances and enquiries are ongoing."
