Police hunting for a missing woman in Perth have recovered a body.
A major search was launched after Catherine McColl left Murray Royal Hospital on Friday morning and was reported missing when she didn't return.
The 52-year-old was last seen at 11.48am in Muirhall Road, Perth.
Police confirmed on Saturday that a body had been found and Catherine's family had been informed.
Catherine was last seen wearing a blue fleece jacket, blue jeans and black and white Converse trainers.
A police spokeswoman said: "The body of a woman has been discovered in Perth.
"The family of missing woman Catherine McColl have been informed and our thoughts are with them."
