Body found in search for missing woman Kelly Johnson in West Lothian

A body has been found in the search for a woman who went missing from her home in West Lothian earlier this week.

A search was launched for Kelly Johnson after she left her home in Livingston on Tuesday.

The 38-year-old was last seen outside her home on Elm Grove around 5pm.

On Friday, Police Scotland said a body had been discovered in woods at Craigshill and Kelly's family had been informed.

The force said: "We can sadly confirm that a woman's body has been found during the search for Kelly Johnson.

"Officers made the discovery within a wooded area of Craigshill, at around 2pm on Friday 3rd May.

"No formal identification has taken place, however, Kelly's family have been informed."
