A BODY has been found in the search for a missing 24-year-old woman from Inverness.
Andrea Kanerova was reported missing from Inverness on Saturday, with police launching an urgent appeal for information as concerns for her welfare grew.
As a search was underway in Inshes Park in the city, a body was found.
Andrea's family have been informed. There are no suspicious circumstance surrounding her death, police believe.
Inverness South councillor Duncan Macpherson said: “My thoughts and prayers immediately turn to the family, loved ones, and friends of the deceased lady at this sad time.”
A statement from Police Scotland said: "Around 11.30am on Sunday, 25 May, 2025, the body of a woman was recovered in the area of Inshes Park, Inverness.
"The family of 24-year-old Andrea Kanerova, who had been reported missing on Saturday, 24 May, has been informed.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
