A body has been found in the search for missing woman Emilie Anderson.
Officers from Police Scotland launched a major search to find the 26-year-old who vanished on Sunday, March 1 from Galashiels at around 2.30am.
Cops confirmed a body of a female was discovered earlier today at around 3.15pm near the Borders town.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but Emilie's family have been informed .
A statement from the Scottish Borders Police read: "We can confirm that the body of a woman was found in the Galashiels area around 3.15pm today, Monday, 2 March, 2020.
"Formal identification has yet to take place however the family of Emilie Anderson (26) from Carlisle, who was reported missing on Sunday, 1 March, has been informed."
