Officers searching for a missing 90-year-old woman have found a body.
Lillian Newell was reported missing to police shortly after 10am on Friday, November 29.
A spokesman for Leicestershire Police said a body was found in the
Castle Donnington area
at around 7.30pm on Friday evening.
The spokesman confirmed it is believed to be missing Lillian.
The added: "There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal and came forward with information."
