Police in West Lothian have confirmed that a body has been found in the search for Jonathon 'Johny' Donaldson from Whitburn.
It comes after Jonathon Donaldson's family and friends formed a makeshift search party yesterday in hope of finding the 26-year-old.
He had been missing since Monday, 11 November and was lasted spotted leaving his work at The Oatridge Hotel in Uphall.
The sous chef was last seen near the post office in Whitburn that evening after taking a number 600 bus.
Police Scotland said: "Formal identification has yet to take place, but Jonathon’s family have been made aware.
"The public are thanked for their assistance during the search."
