A body has been found in the searching for a missing teenager.
Jack Parker was last seen at around 2.30pm on Tuesday (July 28) in Bodmin Road, in Tyldesley, Wigan.
A public appeal for help was issued yesterday evening as police were becoming 'increasingly concerned' about the 15-year-old's welfare.
Officers searching for the teenager announced on Wednesday morning that they had a found a body.
Formal identification has not yet taken place.
However, GMP say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
On Tuesday, concerned family members released a picture of the teenager, in the hope someone might recognise him.
He was described as white, 6ft 3ins tall, of slim build with a shaved head and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing black Nike tracksuit bottoms, a navy blue ribbed coat, black Adidas torsion trainers with a red Adidas logo on the tongue.
