A body has been found in the search for a missing Scots diver who failed to return to shore yesterday.
The alarm was raised around 5.35pm on Sunday as a major multiagency search operation was launched to try and find the man who was reported missing from the Scapa Flow in Orkney.
Police have confirmed that a body was found this afternoon following searches.
Orkney Inspector David Hall said: "Following searches in the Scapa Flow area, a body has been recovered this afternoon which is believed to be of a diver reported missing on Sunday, 27 June.
"Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time."
