A body has been found in the search for a missing pensioner in Aberdeen who vanished during Storm Brendan.
Officers from Police Scotland have informed the family of 65-year-old Yvonne Cumming of the discovery, however formal identification has yet to take place.
A major search was launched after Yvonne went missing from her home in the Granite City on Sunday.
Cops confirmed the body of a woman has been recovered from the River Don in the Dyce area of the city earlier today.
Inspector Lee Jardine, from North East Police Division, said: "Formal identification has yet to take place, however the family of missing woman Yvonne Cumming (65) have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."
