A body found in a river is believed to be that of a missing man.
The body of a man was pulled from Mouse Water, Cartland Craigs in Lanark around 11.30am on Wednesday.
Police believe the body is that of Maurice Benyon, who had been reported missed on January 29.
His family have been informed.
The death is being treated as unexplained but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
