A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Wigan.
Michael Greenall, 27, was last seen on Rosebridge Fields off Platt Lane last Friday evening (September 18).
A public appeal for help finding him was issued by police earlier this week.
Officers searching for Mr Greenall confirmed today (Friday, September 25) they had a found a body.
Formal identification has not yet taken place.
GMP said Mr Greenall's death is not being treated as suspicious. A report is being prepared for the coroner.
On Monday, police released a picture of Mr Greenall, in the hope someone might recognise him.
