Body found in search for missing man

A body has been found in the search for a missing man who vanished from Bath two months ago.

The body of Philip Runacres was discovered in the Thames Valley Police force area, which covers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The 60-year-old went missing on March 9 and detectives believed he could have been in the Bristol area.

Searches were done in the area including in Kelston, between Bath and Bristol.

He was described as a 'vulnerable high risk missing person'.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "The family of Mr Runacres have been notified. They have asked that they are not contacted and be allowed to grieve in peace."
