A body has been found in the search for a man who was reported missing more than two weeks ago.
Andrew Davies, from Llanelli, was last seen on the evening of Sunday, July 4.
His family and police have issued appeals regarding his whereabouts over the past 15 days, with relatives admitting that they were “growing more concerned” about his welfare.
Police have now confirmed that the body of a man was found on Friday, July 16. Officers said while formal identification has not taken place, the family of Mr Davies have been made aware.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Officers searching for Andrew Davies, who has been missing from Llanelli since July 4, can confirm that a body was found on the evening of Friday, July 16.
"Formal identification has not yet taken place. Andrew’s next of kin has been informed.”
