A body has been found in search for missing man Gregor Gibbons.
The 32-year-old, from Colston, Glasgow , was last seen after leaving in his white Ford Fiesta to go to work on Tuesday, July 2.
However cops confirmed they recovered a body from the River Kelvin in the vicinity of Dullatur Bridge at around 11am today.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but Gregor's family have been informed.
The death is being treated as unexplained and a report is to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
It comes after his heartbroken wife posted an emotional plea for his safe return on their wedding anniversary.
On her Facebook and the Find Gregor Page , she shared an emotional image from the special day.
Alongside the happy black and white image of the smiling pair, she wrote: "From the best day of our lives to now living a nightmare.
"Please come home Gregor we should be celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary.
"Everyone wants you home and I want my husband back".
And on July 7, Rangers shared the desperate appeal for the die-hard fan on the big screens.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that around 11.00 am, the body of a man was recovered from the River Kelvin in the vicinity of Dullatur Bridge.
"Formal identification has yet to take place. However, the family of Gregor Gibbons, who was reported missing from the Colston area of Glasgow on Tuesday, July 2 has been informed."
